Sol Direct Primary Care (Sol DPC) is a Black woman-owned primary care practice founded by Dr. Michelle Cooke in East Point, Georgia, created specifically to provide a high-quality, culturally affirming healthcare experience for Black women. The practice operates on a Direct Primary Care (DPC) membership model, which eliminates insurance billing and keeps patient panels small so members receive extended, unhurried appointments and direct access to their doctor by phone, text, or email. Membership covers the vast majority of primary care needs with no surprise bills. Services include comprehensive primary care, annual labs, preventive care, women's health, on-site bloodwork at discounted cash rates, telehealth across Georgia, laser hair removal safe for brown skin, hair restoration consultations, and skincare services. New patients can start with a VIP Physical — a 60-minute appointment including annual labs and a 3D body composition scan — with no membership required. Sol DPC does not accept insurance but welcomes patients of all backgrounds. Ages 12 and up.
