MassAbility Career Services, formerly known as the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission, helps Massachusetts residents with disabilities prepare for, find, keep, or advance in employment. Services may include career counseling, vocational assessment, job training, education support, assistive technology, job placement assistance, employer connections, and support during the first 90 days of employment. MassAbility also offers Pre-Employment Transition Services for youth and helps individuals access benefits, rights, and independent living supports. People who are blind or visually impaired may be referred to the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind for specialized vocational rehabilitation services.
