The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) administers several scholarship programs specifically for Black students residing in or attending college in Georgia. The UNCF/AFLAC Foundation Scholarship provides eligible Georgia undergraduate students with up to $3,000 in need-based financial assistance. Georgia students may also apply for additional UNCF programs including STEM scholarships, general academic awards, and HBCU-specific funding through Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Spelman College, and other Georgia HBCUs in the UNCF network. All scholarships are applied for through one free online portal. Most awards require FAFSA completion and have their own GPA minimums, deadlines, and eligibility criteria. Students can apply for multiple scholarships simultaneously.
