Central Massachusetts Housing Alliance provides housing counseling and emergency housing assistance support for residents in Central Massachusetts. Services may help individuals and families understand tenant rights, address eviction notices, apply for emergency rental assistance, and connect with housing stabilization resources. CMHA’s housing counseling program can assist residents who are having difficulty paying rent or mortgage costs, facing nonpayment eviction, or needing guidance on housing-related problems. Residents can contact CMHA by email or phone to begin housing counseling services. CMHA also provides information and guidance related to the Residential Assistance for Families in Transition program, which offers short-term emergency funding to eligible Massachusetts households facing eviction, foreclosure, loss of utilities, or other housing emergencies.
