Founded in 1975, Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit serving women, children, and teens across metro Atlanta. PADV operates the only state-certified domestic violence safe houses in Fulton and Gwinnett Counties and serves approximately 18,000 survivors annually. Services include a 24-hour crisis line, emergency shelter, long-term supportive housing for up to two years in community-based apartments, individual and group counseling, legal advocacy, case management, financial and utility assistance, job training, and community education. PADV also runs a teen dating violence prevention curriculum in local schools. Coordinated entry for domestic violence supportive housing is available by contacting PADV's housing team directly. The organization partners with the Georgia Department of Human Services and local law enforcement to provide coordinated community responses to domestic violence.
