The NoMi Food Pantry, operated by the City of North Miami's Housing and Social Services Department, provides free food distributions to North Miami residents in need twice monthly. Available items include fresh fruits and vegetables, protein, dairy, and non-perishable shelf-stable products. The pantry also distributes USDA Foods through the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), available to the first 150 qualifying households per distribution. To receive services, residents must be North Miami residents and provide proof of residency such as a photo ID and utility bill. Appointments can be made by phone, online, or in person. Item quantities may vary based on household size and availability. Only one registration per household is permitted, and the recipient must be present at pick-up.
