Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence – Get Help connects survivors of domestic violence in Illinois to support through the Illinois Domestic Violence Hotline and local domestic violence service providers. Survivors, loved ones, and professionals can use the resource to find help with safety planning, emotional support, emergency shelter referrals, counseling, legal advocacy, orders of protection, and local survivor-support programs. The related “Her Voice, Their Voices” page may be useful for education about Black women’s experiences with domestic violence, but the Get Help page is the better public resource for people seeking immediate support.
