Joyce Grant Fund

Michigan

The Joyce Grant Fund provides one-time awards of up to $5,000 to support Black women in midlife who are pursuing education, training, or skill-building opportunities that can open new personal, professional, or community pathways. The Fund supports eligible applicants who live in Michigan or Massachusetts, identify as women of African American, Caribbean, or Sub-Saharan African heritage, are ages 35 to 55, have identified a specific education or training program, and need scholarship funding to attend. Applications are accepted year-round, but awards are made during specific application cycles. The current cycle is closed, the award date is October 1, 2026, and the next application cycle begins March 1, 2027.
