The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a Feeding America partner food bank serving the 13-county North Texas region from its Perot Family Campus in Plano, Texas. NTFB works with a network of nearly 500 partner agencies — including food pantries, soup kitchens, senior meal programs, shelters, and after-school programs — to distribute food to families experiencing food insecurity. Services include a food pantry locator tool, a mobile food distribution schedule in partnership with Catholic Charities Dallas, Dallas College, and UT Dallas, senior nutrition programs, child nutrition programs, garden programs, college hunger initiatives, and disaster relief. NTFB's Social Services Assistance team also helps residents apply for SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, Texas Health Women, and the Medicare Savings Program at no cost.
