Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services – Vocational Rehabilitation Service helps eligible Alabama teens and adults with disabilities prepare for, find, keep, or advance in employment. Services may include vocational counseling, career planning, education and training support, job readiness, job placement, workplace accommodations, assistive technology referrals, transition services for students, supported employment, and other employment-related supports. ADRS states that every public high school in Alabama has a vocational rehabilitation counselor assigned to provide pre-employment and transition services.
