The DC Victim Hotline, a program of the National Center for Victims of Crime, provides free and confidential support to domestic violence survivors in Washington D.C. available 24 hours a day by phone, text, or live chat. The resource page connects survivors to a comprehensive network of D.C.-specific organizations including DC SAFE (24-hour crisis intervention with on-call advocacy), My Sisters' Place (emergency shelter and transitional housing for battered women and children), House of Ruth (shelter including mental health support), DASH (housing for survivors of DV, sexual assault, and trafficking), Volare (free trauma-informed legal and therapeutic services), and the Victim Legal Network of DC (25+ legal service organizations).
