Center for Leadership of Afrikan Women’s Wellness is a Milwaukee-based nonprofit supporting Black/African American women affected by trauma. The organization creates safe and confidential healing spaces where Black women can share experiences, receive support, and build wellness in community. Services and activities may include Sisters Talk Healing Circles, peer support, life skills support, wellness education, town hall meetings, health and wellness seminars, workshops, healthy cooking classes, community events, and referrals to additional support. CLAWW’s mission is to increase awareness and develop a network of services and individualized support circles for Black/African American women affected by trauma in Milwaukee County.
