Access Health Louisiana’s Maternal Childcare program helps pregnant and postpartum patients navigate care during pregnancy, delivery, and after birth. The Maternal Child Coordinator helps patients coordinate care, track pregnancy progress, identify social needs that may affect their health, connect to community resources, and apply for supportive services such as WIC, Medicaid, and pregnancy classes. The program also helps parents prepare for newborn pediatric care and connect with additional support through Access Health Louisiana.
