I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, culturally responsive care to children, adolescents, and adults. I work with individuals experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, mood disorders, and other mental health concerns. During our first appointment, I will take time to understand your symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, daily challenges, cultural background, and treatment goals. We will discuss possible diagnoses and create an individualized treatment plan together. When medication is appropriate, I explain the available options, expected benefits, possible side effects, and monitoring needs so that you can make an informed decision about your care. My goal is to provide a supportive space where Black girls, women, and families feel heard, respected, and included in every treatment decision. Therapeutic Approach / Methods Psychiatric evaluation, medication management, supportive psychotherapy, psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, culturally responsive care, and shared decision-making.
