Meeks DeDeaux

Hi, I'm Meeka, MA, LPC-Associate, NCC. I offer a culturally affirming space for Black women and BIPOC clients who are tired of being the strong one, the one with all the answers, the one who holds everyone else together. I work with women and BIPOC adults navigating anxiety, stress, identity, life transitions, and the pressures of motherhood and family. You won't have to explain your culture, your code-switching, or why some things are harder to say out loud. I already understand that context, and I want you to feel seen and heard here. Our first session is a conversation, not an interrogation. We'll talk about what brought you in, what you're hoping will change, and what you'd like me to know about you. I'll ask some background questions about your history, your support system, and your daily life so I can understand the full picture. You set the pace, and you never have to share more than you're ready to. By the end, we'll have a sense of whether we're a good fit and a starting plan for what our work together could look like. You're welcome to ask me anything, including how I work, what sessions feel like, and what to expect next. Therapy should feel like a good fit, and that…
