I hold a Masters degree in Counseling and Psychology/ Clinical Mental Health from Troy University (June 2007) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the Talladega College (June 1990). I am credentialed as a Qualified Supervisor (Lic # QS121939), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (Lic. # 10370) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (Lic. # 23238). My experience in the mental health field began with employment during my graduate program, employed with a mental health agency in the field of Multisystemic Therapy (2006). I have continued to work in the field of counseling with experience working with individual, group, couples, and family settings providing services for children, adolescents and adults. Areas of therapy include behavioral modifications, mood disorders, trauma, relationships, family difficulties and substance misuse. I am also a certified MAP Practitioner (a neuroscience-based modality). Additionally, I have worked in leadership roles with colleagues, including as a Clinical Director over 5 mental health locations, a transitional living home for women and a 30-day recovery residential program for men.
