I have been a Licensed Clinical Worker since 2016. I obtained a Bachelor’s in Social work from NC A&T State University and a Master’s in Social Work in 2015 from Case Western Reserve University. I have 7 years of experience as an Outpatient Therapist working with agencies such as Hope Services and One-Eighty Counseling and 11 years of experience in Social Services, working as a Social work Advocate or Case Manager at various corporations like The Salvation Army (shelters in both NY and NC). Therapy style My approach to care is relaxed, open and direct communication as well as a collaborative, empathetic approach towards each and every client. I feel the need to build a trusting, safe and easy therapeutic relationship with my clients, making it a priority, therefore client engagement is one of my best qualities when working with individuals and families. I view each client’s case as unique and go over and beyond to work towards committing and maintaining positive change in each individual’s life. I take pride in treating each client as an individual and my down-to-earth approach is heightened by my past experiences as an advocate for my local community.
